Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Defense Production represented Pakistan at the Defense & Security Equipment International Exhibition (DSEI) held in Excel London from 15 September to 18 September 2015. He headed a high level delegation comprising officials from various Defense Production organisations and the GHQ.

The Federal Minister, on the sidelines of the exhibition has also called on Mr Phillip Dunne, MoD UK Minister for Defense Procurement, Mr Stephen Phipson, Head of UK Trade & Investment Defense Security Organisation and Brigadier Watkins, Head of MoD UK Disposal Services Authority (Capital Equipment Sales). Matters pertaining to further enhancing the defense cooperation and trade between UK and Pakistan have been discussed during these meetings.”

The Pakistan delegation visited pavilions/stalls of world’s leading Defense related equipment manufacturing companies, which has provided an opportunity to evaluate new avenues for up-gradation/modernization of our defense forces.

This is by far the world’s largest land, sea & air defense and security exhibition held bi-annually in London. This year more than 1500 exhibitors participated in the exhibition and delegations from more than 60 countries have been invited to witness the event.
