Birmingham: APWA Birmingham hosted a successful Women’s Well-being and empowerment seminar at Odara Moseley in collaboration with NHS Mental Health and some other organisations supporting the challenges in our community today. Hosted by Rana Shama Nazir. There were many inspirational speakers who delivered speeches that touched the heart and the reality of today. Keynote speakers were APWA Chair Riffat Mughal, Salma Yaqoob, Aysha Iqbal, Rabab Malik, Samina Rajah, Neelum Hameed, Alba Sandobal and other. They expressed their views and stated that Women should stand together and support one another. By building a strong foundation we are building a stronger society. Also present were Razia Tariq Hadait, Gazalah Ahmed, Shaam Abbasi, Sajeda Awaan, Bina Ahmad, Atiya SR Khalid, Amina, Shazia, Rubi Tariq, Samina Yaqoob, Saeeda, Kam Saina, Shougfta Naz, Tayba Jafri, Nasreen Awaan, Najma Begum, Shameem and others.
