Birmingham: COPE Fundraising Iftar Dinner was held at the Badshah Palace Walsall Road. The event included Nasheed by Tariq Lohar and beautiful Quran recitation by 3 Hafiz-e-Quran Children aged between 11-13. Organized by Rehana Rafiq, Nasrat Rafiq, Sofia Tariq and Shabnem Naz. It was a highly successful event attended by many dignitaries and distinguished guests and was supported by the Birmingham business community. It was hosted by Nasrat Rafiq, Chairperson of the charity. The event included a presentation on the history of COPE UK and the work being done by the Organization. The event was highly successful in raising much-needed funds to support a Water and Sanitation Project in Sindh province. The keynote speakers were Salma Yaqoob, Abid Khan and others. They express their views and appreciated the work COPE has done in the past years. The event also included auctions for fundraising. Also present were Zoe Bennett, Neelam Afzal, Fethi Osman, Mohammed Ayub, Khalid Mir, Gulfaraz Farid, Mohammed Shafiq, Nav Iltaf, Samina Rehman and many others.
